Use an email address you control, protect your sign-in credentials and keep your account details accurate. You must be legally able to agree to these terms under the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for activity through your account; contact us if you believe it has been compromised.

Your profile and fragrance lists start public. You can change who sees them in What others see. Private bottle details, prices and personal notes remain private. A link shared with another person may be forwarded by them.

Share honest opinions and accurate information. Do not harass others, post private information without permission, impersonate someone, submit spam or deceptive reviews, manipulate votes, upload unlawful material or try to bypass access controls. Only upload content you own or have permission to use, and respect attribution and licensing requirements.

We may review, correct, restrict or remove content, and suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service. You can report content through the site or contact us about a moderation decision.

You keep ownership of your original content. By submitting it, you give Scentateca a non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, format and display it as needed to operate the service, subject to your privacy settings. This permission also covers moderation and preserving approved catalogue contributions.

Approved catalogue facts and contributions may remain after account deletion with your name removed. Images and content credited to other sources retain their original ownership and applicable licences. Do not reuse them without checking those rights.

Catalogue facts, comparisons, predictions and community opinions can be incomplete or mistaken. Fragrance experience is subjective, and recommendations are informational. Check ingredients, allergies, product authenticity, prices and retailer terms independently before buying or using a product.

Links and attributed content from other websites are provided for reference. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Scentateca does not guarantee their availability or endorse every statement they publish.

We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or complete accuracy. Features and content may change. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by reliance on fragrance information or interruptions.

These terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

You can export your data, deactivate your profile or request account deletion in Your data. The deletion screen explains its grace period and what remains in the shared catalogue.
